JOB DESCRIPTION
As a System Administrator you will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure by:
- Managing servers (backing up and assuring security)
- Providing the essential hardware and software support for laptops, desktops, printers, etc.
- Keeping yourself constantly updated with the new technologies in the market to increase the efficiency of your work
- Maintain and update documentation
You will work with the following:
- Operating systems:
- Windows Desktops:10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista , XP, 2000, NT, Me, 9X
- Windows Servers: 2008, 2003, 2012, 2016;
- DOS, UNIX, Debian, Ubuntu, Cent OS, Fedora, Mandrake, Suse, Mac OS X
- Database Applications: Microsoft SQL Server, My SQL( fundamentals)
- Active Directory
- Virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, Virtual Box)
- Applications:
- Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010, 2013
- RIM Blackberry Enterprises Server
- Microsoft Office
- Microsoft Visio, Project
- Protocols: TCP/IP, Routing and Routed Protocols, VPN, CiscoRouters LAN, WAN, PPP, WirelessLAN IEEE 802.11, data transfer, VoIP
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Our ideal candidate must have:
- University degree (IT background is a must)
- Writing and verbal communication skills in English
- Knowledge and experience of the technologies we employ (see Job Description)
The following is a plus:
- Cisco CCNA,CCNP
- MCSE
- Forti NSE4
